Hey all

Just thought I'd post our Crestie, Denver. He's almost a year old. Actually, I say "he" but we aren't totally sure if he is a he. Have a look at the last pic and let me know what you think. (Hope this works)

Thats a really nice looking crestie congrats
Nice pinstriping
As for sex its kind of hard to tell in that pic. If it has a noticeably big bulge at the base of its tail its male if not its female.
If you could get a clearer pic it should be no problem to tell.
If I were to guess I would say male.

Awesome crestie. Nice tank as well. Is that tape on the paper rolls though?

There is a bulge, but it's not really prominant. The rolls are temporary. Yes, that's tape, but there is no sticky sides exposed.

Oh, by the way, what's pinstriping? Do you mean along the edges of his legs and crest?

We can't wait to get some more of these little critters!

Thats one nice crestie. Pinstripe refers to the white markings along the crest of the gecko that runs down its body. May I ask where you acquired such a great looking gecko?

He LOOKS like a male... but usually the bulge appears totally overnight it seems :P I've had a 100% success rate with 6 cresties so far, raising them from babies and deciding what sex they'd be. Maybe it's just because I told them so...

He's VERY nice, the ladies will love him :D

Even though the pictures are fuzzy, the spurs seem quite prominent, leading me to guess male. If you can get a better angle of his back end, maybe from the side, we could take another shot at it.

This fine lookin' lad (assuming we're all correct) comes from Neil Meister, although I got him indirectly through a local pet store. The pics actually don't do him justice. He can be a beautiful orange at night (more like the second picture). I'll try to get a better pic of his... bottom... tomorrow. :)http://www3.ns.sympatico.ca/jason.e.doucette/clear01.jpg
