Well I was thinking once I got my Ball Python and after quarantining I was thinking about getting a Albino female. If I were to bred and albino female to a normal male would i get 25% alibons, 50% Het, and 25% possible het?

And if I get 100% het for albino female? Will I get any albinos? I really like albinos they are my second favorite behind Pieds

Well if you can fork out $3,500+ for a Albino then this is what you will get.
Albino female bred to a normal male=100% Het Albinos NO Albinos.
100% Het albino bred to a Normal would give you ALL 50% Hets for Albino
100% Het Albino bred to 100%Het Albino would give you
25% Albinos
25% Normals
50% Het Albinos.

Hope this helps ;)

yeah thanks. I guess I'll have to get two 100% hets then sounds like my best bet. Then I'll just find a female for my male. And yeah the 3500.00 is no problem, but if I'm only going to produce hets I don't want to do that I'm itching for an albino :)

If you're really going to invest in an albino female, just get a het male too. Heck, some breeders will almost throw one in the deal for virtually free. I know I would. ;)

Hmm that sounds like a good idea, too bad you're in Canada or I'd take ya up on that offer Tim :). I never thought about that myself. Thanks

BTW, the $3500 price tag that Kelvin quoted is in Canadian funds. You can pick up a female albino for around $2000 US. I'm with everyone else, I would invest in a male albino though, and a few het females. That'll give you the best odds for producing albinos (50%) if you have the cash.

Yeah I know it's only 2k here in the States I've found them as cheap at 1,800.00 as well, but I'd prefer to get them from NERD or someone like that.

Get a male instead.
