Herp mag

What would you say the best herp magazine is? I need something informative with lots of good stuff in it. Something worth the money there was one in the pet store that didn't impress me at all. Need it to have a fair amount about lizards and snakes

Reptile Magazine? Seems OK to me, but it's also the only one I've seen..

you could publish your own...give 'em some competition :)

haha I don't know enough varied species to publish my own, I'm an excellent creative writer but that won't do much... Haha maybe we should get a bunch of us together to write one :)

That would be an awesome experiment! You should try and get people here together to do that! Lots of breeders and experienced herpers here! :D

another forum im on does that.. some ppl write there latest how toos and information and they end up with a mag.. looks very professional... its a mini chopper forum and mag..

they use a e mag but lately are getting into a print version.. if youd like to see an example of the cover and stuff heres the site

the first one is the previous covers and the second one just goes to show you how much it BLEW up... the first issue sold way over doubble the ammount of ppl that were members on the forum...

so if we could do something like that for this site it would be cool.. the problem is that you need a volenteer to set it all up and stuff... its gotta look good right... that and the payment and the way that works has got to be worked out.. i know the site owner and stuff pays for it all himself( the site and stuff) and just recently started taking donations to help pay for upgrades.. but the mag is all his.. a few ppl send in how toos and pics but he mostly rights each article

all you do is send him a paypal and he sends you a link.. you just gotta be trustworthy that theyll pay for it if they want it..

I get Reptile Magazine ..it is great even if it doesn't always have articles that interest me
