Was wanting to know how the experianced breeders incubate their ball python eggs. Don't need anything to house a lot of eggs right now, just something that will hatch a couple clutches.
I incubate at 89-90 deg. with 100% humidity. I use a Rubbermaid #2221 to house my eggs in a perlite/vermiculite mix.

Would anyone mind posting their experiences and personal prefrences of using an incubating medium such as perlite&vermiculite vs substrate less incubating?

How do you heat this mykee?
I use 4 feet of 11" heat tape up top, and 4 feet of 11" heat tape below. Here's a pic when it was still at Phil's without the edgeing. The incubator (built by Retic aka Phil) measures 22" x 22" x 48". (The dimmer beside the Helix is for the fan).

Look! I see Mykee's "Best Little Book of Witty Remarks" on the shelf. :D :D :P ;)
Sorry, I couldn't resist.
I myself want to try the no incubation medium method. I think it looks like a totally neat idea.
