I have decided to make building a Cham cage my winter project. I'm wondering if those of you who have more simple cages could post some pics so i can get a good idea of what im looking at.
Thats all, thanks.

Never glass with chameleons.
It's aluminum screen

i would change that aluminum screen, because chameleons get therenails caught in it and they pull the nails right out. But glass can be used. see one type of way to build an enclosure for chameleons is to have all wooden sides, than have your glass door in the front. The top have to bee screen (with holes that are 1 cm square. than have a fan and face it into the tank and set it on low. this gets a perfect amount of ciqulation.

You are right about the ventilation

I've been using PetScreen for our cages - I'm really happy with it. It does filter out alot of light - so I use 1/2 " hardware cloth on the top to let as much UVB and light through.

I use mesh too... the holes are big enough so she doesn't get her claws stuck in it.
