How can you come up with what percentage of each the offspring are?

That's easy to do.
If you cross a Diamond with a jungle, you get 50/50 of each bloodline. But if you take one of those 50/50 crosses and breed it back to a Diamond, that adds 25% more diamond blood to the mix,making it a 75% Diamond cross. If you take the 75% diamond cross and bred it to a Diamond again, it will raise the diamond influence to 87.5%.
