What size cage would an adult sav or nile need? I would like to get one but I want to make sure I have enough space for it first.

Savannah I'd say 6x3x3 atleast with proper humidity and temps, Niles I have no clue. But it seems like you're getting into a lot of animals quite quickly from your different posts. For some good care sheets try. www.themonitorspot.com they have good care sheets on both these species.

Oh thats good then, I was going to be worried if anyone got into the amout of animals you've posted about in a short time. Don't take it personal I was just in awe haha. I'm sure people can do it just not me. Good luck with whatever you choose, and Savannah's are great, highly reccomend them :)

Yeah, I don't have the time, money, or space to have all of the animals I post about. I am just trying to figure out what is best for me. :) :D :p

I can't help you out with the nile but my cousin keeps a sav and his adult enclosure that he's building will be close to half his room, around 7 feet by 7 feet by 4 feet. I guess a good rule you could use for you nhile would be as long as its a few feet longer than its total body length for width and length and then if thier aboreal( again have no clue) make it like 6 feet or so, If you have an extra room to spare I think that would work well for the nhile, I've heard that works well for larger lizards as long as you can keep the heat and humidity up.
Again, I don't keep any lizards so this is all just second source info.
Hope it helped a bit though:)
Cheers

A Nile would do best in a spare room. If you are living at home with your parents, it's unlikely you'll have the room to house one properly.

Would a 10'x4'x6' be big enough? That is pretty much all of the room I have right now. I could go taller if needed but I don't want to have trouble heating it. ;) :p

Some Niles get huge. If yours turns out to be one of those, that isn't going to be large enough.

I would also just like to add that with a Nile you would also need a small pool for swimming and soaking. Kinda hard to keep it clean and fresh.
