Just a few recent pics of my Water Monitor that I got from Shawn at Strickly Exotic Reptiles... Every time I think about maybe selling him, I take him out and the thought vanishes from my mind......
Definitely my favourite herp ever! Thanks again Shawn...

Thanks, I think he is cool too. This is my third Water and I've had him about a year now, and he has never, ever tried to bite! I take him out every few weeks and he sqirms for about 10 seconds, then he is content to just walk calmly up my arm and sit on my shoulder and look around. He is extremely relaxed compared to the other 2 I had. He's taken food from my hands many times. He seems to know the difference between food and my fingers. I always wanted a tame dragon! :D Can't wait till he's 7 ft long! :D

Nice monitor,

I haven't worked with Water Monitors in years, but of the 4 species I've had Waters are my favourite. I once worked a tank with 2, 3&1/2 foot males and 1, 5 foot female, and never had an issue in any sence. Most definately the most intelligent and "friendly" monitor I've seen.
