Ray G, I can’t get pictures to transfer to your email. Here is that female I told you about. She is a SC locale and been captive for about 3 years. Let me know if you want her, will get her shipped to you in the next week or so. Thanks ---Chuck
PS, oh yeah. Everyone else enjoy the photos too. =)

If ever there was a hot I would keep that would be it! I love everything about them except for the idea of maybe losing a finger or hand.
When someones gets bit by one of these do they even bother with anti-venom?
Cheers,
Trevor

In most cases a healthy adult male would not need AV. You just have to watch the swelling to make that call. If you ever register over 30 on the compartmental pressure test or the swelling extends past the shoulder (assuming you bit on the hand or arm) then you would need it, otherwise, most just sweat it out.
I love the Agkistrodons and am trying to obtain 1.1 Trans-pecos to finish my copperhead collection...next Hamburg show I guess..anyways nice specimen

have 1.2 trans pecos and i am hoping to produce this year. if i have any luck, i will give you a couple. or you can get one in PA, i will give you one so you have an unrelatied pair.
I love copperheads! I am not a hot fan really, but those have always caught my eye. Nice snake!

They are an amazing snake. Their pattern makes them all but invisible in the wild.....except for those of us that are actually looking for snakes :D

I damn near stepped on this one! Two other researchers couldn't see it even when I was pointing right at it...

I knew someone would say something ;), this one was a tricky ID, but Jim Harrison and I settled on Northern purely due to the area it was found (Indiana, if memory serves).
