well thanks to a friend that I thought was a friend .I have lost every thing I have worked for the last three years including my hondo project , I had surgery this tuesday and a good friend said that they would look after every one for me ? I went back to the house and found that all of my snakes were dead and under -10 degrees f
I lost a pair of bci from mo parrie and all of my hondos as well as all of my pythons including my Indian project as well as many more.My total is over 15,000 Just tell ya, just to trust yourself.
I have a few snakes let for sale at my step daughters that were kept in her cold storage for hibernation Thank god for thouse you can trust

OMG, that's terrible man. I feeld for you, as I know how much you loved those snakes and working with them. That sucks man.

How the heck did the house get down to minus 10 though? Did the guy rob you or anything? Can you press charges to get something back?

Paul,
That is very sad and unfortunate. I know how passionate you are about our slithering friends. Maybe instead of giving up, you should just give it some time. I know after all that hard work is lost, it's hard to start over, but I don't think that you really want to quit. You're upset, which is very understandable, but along with the healing hands of time, you can rebuild your collection bigger and better than it ever was. Stay strong and as hard as it may be, stay positive. After all is back to normal maybe you can change your name to "BIGGERHillReptiles". Take it easy and once again I'm very sorry to hear about your loss.
Sincerely,
Craig

Dear Paul,
I am so sorry about what happened. Talk about getting kicked while you are down!
All of Ontario will remember the winter of 2005, but probably nobody more than you.
I hope you are making a speedy recovery from your surgery. Take care!

Hey I know I don't know you nor have I ever seen your snake nor know your compassion although I have a good idea of how you might be feeling, and can only sympathize for you. I hope more come too if it's possible, and there's nothing I can say that hasn't been said, and I'm sure you know that everyone is her for you and behind you with all you do. My thoughts and prayers go out to you not only for your lost collection but your recovery of surgery, I'm assured 'he' will be with you through the tough times. The best of luck to you and your collection.

And I'm pretty sure you've got a lawsuit on your hands if it was a preventable mishap, that was neglected since you basicly let someone watch over your business, however this is a "friend" so that could be an issue for you.

Actually Paul, if you get this in time, warm up all snakes slowly. Warming them too fast could kill them, warming them slowly could save them.

Once warm, keep them really warm, and a bit more humid than normal for a few weeks.

Hey Paul, so sorry to hear the news. If there is any way you could make it to the Calgary TARAS show, and my Teddy girl has her babies in time, I will give you a pair of boas free no strings, just my condolences. I too have gone through very similar devastation and really feel for you, lost my whole collection sevenish years ago in a house fire. Now I'm back with an even bigger and better collection, so definately don't give up. Anyways either way if you can't make it to Calgary, I'll send them to you as long as you can pay shipping!! Us herpers have got to stick together, and I really feel the need to help you out. Any questions, or if you just want to chat, you can PM me here or Email me at forktonguefarms@hotmail.com. Take care and get better soon!

Dave
