I have been told many times that when any color phase of amazon breeds the color of the neonates is completely out of the blue... Seen quite a bit of births with amazons and the last few where all with the garden phase. Every neonate but one in the first litter and 2 in the second where not gardens. Seen this in almost every litter involving the same phase. Can anyone shed some light on this, if two exact phases are bred together the off spring will favor them? Heard many different sides to this. thanks for any help, jason

I've heard/read that two gardens can produce any colour combination.
This is the nicest one I've produced so far from two Garden Phases.

I had my first litter of 7 last year. I hope I get something like 10 or more this year. The more I get the better chance of producing some colours. I'm not sure what the sex of this one is yet but no matter what it is I'm going to line breed it or breed it to the one with the most red from this years litter.
Cheers,

Trevor, yeah the litters i have seen has either 1 or 2 red neonates. Like yours only the red wasnt as prominent. I was assuming they was more to it but i guess it is just pure coincidence. thanks jason
