I woke up to a second snow day in a row and to this,

She is so hard to photograph. The flash always washes out her colour. She is not this yellow. She is typical Biak, light green with yellow blotches, especially in her face. If you look close enough you can see some of it.

Try backing up a bit and zooming in and/or cropping the pics. ;)

She is super amazing. I also have a tip for the flash...I find white or lighter snakes always wash out so placing some tissue paper, or other partially see through material over the flash works really well. I got good results with both toliet paper and a white pillow case.

Great ideas guys. Tim I tried your trick for taking pics of my male ATB and it worked great. I took one close and then one far but I zoomed in and it made all the difference in the world. The second one really did a better job of capturing his colours.

I also keep my camera set to the highest quality setting, then you can go into photochop and do whatever you want to it, crop down, and still have a nice sized pic...

ok..didnt this start off with the snake..and now its about camers?lol w/e guys but thats a nice snake:)
