Crestie Difference???

Hi Everyone,

This is my first post. I am relativley new to the herping world.

I have two female crested geckos. One has small vertical pupils as is the norm. (I believe). My other always has dillated pupils that cover the entire eye (black). Could there be something wrong?? She eats a lot and I think she is 100% healthy?

Any help would be much appreciated

Did you look at them at the same time?Was one in the dark and one in the light?
There pupils will be bigger as it gets darker, and smaller as it becomes lighter :)

As Kevin said, it depends on the light, and perhaps if they're hunting. I know that when my cresties eye a nice cricket, their pupils get bigger.

After closer observation, it was the light.
