Not trying to rain on your parade, but there is no such thing as a licensed body piercer. Do you mean you went to a piercing school? And got a certificate? if so, that would make you a "certified" piercer, not a licensed piercer. I'm saying this from experience, I pierced in a professional shop for 5 years, and there's no such thing as a licensed piercer, same goes for tattooists. Just my $0.02.

Well I guess I'll reveal myself too. I use to bodybuild, but I find herping much more invigorating and the people here are more down to earth.

I was going to go to Fakir Musafir in San Fran but I figured $8000us wasn't worth learning how to do the basics (eyebrow, tongue, navel, etc) since I already knew how to do them all plus much more. I'm the only one in the city that would and could do the works. I was thinking of opening my own piercing school for a while there, but too much funds were needed.

I saw an Indonesian artist do one like that on a guys throat at the last convention I was at. Looked pretty intense to say the least.

I'd like to get one like that from an artist that was really good at it. There's an oriental artist that does them like that and does traditional oriental dragons and koi fish and stuff like that. His name is Horiyoshi III and the trade has been passed down from generation to generation and let me tell you, you would never know it wasn't done with a modern tattoo machine. However I definately wouldn't be getting him to do one of the tapping method (bamboo) on my throat thats for sure! YEEOUCH!

I want one on my throat, but not done like that! It has to be absolutely perfect if I actually commit to something like that. I watched my buddy get his throat done and he had to stand up for it because he couldn't breath with the tattooist pressing on his throat with his head leaned back while he was laying down. Let me tell you, this guy is COVERED and it was killing him. I can't barely stand still when he's trying to put on the stencil let alone getting the tattoo standing up, let alone on the throat!

i got a tribal spider design on the side of the bottom of my gut (like right above the pants-line.)

I've got my fair share of those ones, most of the ones I got when I was 13 to 19 I want to get removed 1/2 way down so they're easier to cover. Lots of tribal that can only be covered with bigger, blacker tribal, and I'm more into the colour now.

yeah that sucks. i havent looked into it yet but it doesnt seem like it would be too easy to cover the one i have. what is involved in getting them removed half-way down? and yeah those coloured ones on your arms look sick.

LOL its not even bad at all. this one has one part of the V longer than the other part so the one side fits perfect on my leg. the floyd rose bridge pisses me off more than anything cuz im not used to it. and yep randy rhoads was the man. hes like my stepdads idol which is why i bought him that particular axe.:cool: :D
