Can anyone tell what a "reasonable" price would be for a 1.5-3ish yr old Anery Female? I don't even know if adult Anery's are ever sold since I have yet to see one advertised, but I am thinking about seeing if I can't find one and would like to know what kind of $$$ should be looking at dishing out.

Thanks

400 - 500 seems reasonable.

Thanks Thunder,

My ultimate goal it to have a couple Snows.

So, either I buy them $$$$ (I assume) or I breed them.

I guess I have a couple options, here is what I have figured out so far (some is copy and pasted and other is figued out on the genetics wizard:

Albino = recesive
Anerythristic = recessive

==========================

Homozygous Albino,
x
Homozygous Anery,
100% Het. Albino, Het. Anery,

==========================

Het. Albino, Het. Anery,
x
Het. Albino, Het. Anery,
6.25% WT
12.5% Het. Anery,
6.25% Homozygous Anery,
12.5% Het. Albino,
25% Het. Albino, Het. Anery,
12.5% Het. Albino, Homozygous Anery,
6.25% Homozygous Albino,
12.5% Homozygous Albino, Het. Anery,
6.25% Homozygous Albino, Homozygous Anery

Another way to look at double het snow x double het snow is:

Regular Double Het Snow x Regular Double Het Snow = (from every sixteen offspring): three albino boas (66% chance hetero for snow), three anerythristic boas (66% chance hetero for snow boa) one snow boa, four double heterozygous boas, two heterozygous for albino boas, two heterozygous for anerythristic boas, and one normal boa.

============================================

Homozygous Albino, Homozygous Anery, (Normal het Snow)
Homozygous Albino, Homozygous Anery, (Normal Het Snow)
100% Homozygous Albino, Homozygous Anery, (Snow)

now i just need to figure out where to get

het Albino/het Anerys

Where are you finding anerys for $400 in Canada? All the babies I've seen have gone for a minimum of $700-$800 CDN. I'd expect older boas to fetch even more than that...

Linds is right.
Sub-adult anery females 1000.00-1200.00 adult female anery you would be lucky to find adult 1200.00-1500.00 i belive these prices are well worth it for the anery gene.
Good luck with your search.
