My new IJ

Hi all

I have done a ton of research and finally picked up my first snake. It is a male IJ that I picked up in Calgary. It has had 3 meals and is doing great.

I don't believe that you can post photos directly from your computer but you can upload them to your sSNAKESs photo hosting account. There is a little camera icon beside your user name in your post. If you click on that you will be taken to your gallery. From there click on "Upload photo" or something to that effect and follow the instructions.

To post a photo from your computer:

1. Upload it onto your free www.ssnakess.com gallery, or onto a site like Photobucket.

2. If using photobucket, just copy/paste the link with the tags around it, including the [img] tags.

3. If using the ssnakess.com photo gallery, right click on the picture, click Properties.

4. Highlight the URL you see.

5. Paste the URL between two img tags..ex: [img] www.pictureurl.com

6. Write your post, click submit and pat yourself on the back :p

Very nice IJ man hehe its so tiny 2 I just love IJ's. I guess thats why they are my personal favorite :)

Hard to tell with that pic. A close-up would definately help us identify it. :)

But in that pic, at first glance looks like a Jungle, but when I look closer, the coloring looks IJ/WP to me. Head markings definately look JCP though. I dunno.........

Looks like a Jungle to me, although in all those pics it kinda looks like there is that purple-ish (is that a word?) hue in the banding but maybe not. :) Perhaps I should put the bong away and go to bed......:p

I'd say it was a jungle but it can be so hard to tell when they are young, and photo's usually dont do snakes no justice at all for their colour. I bought a JCP which turned out to be an Irian. And a Grey Rat Snake which turned out to be a yellow!!!! Im happy with both though so I cant grumble.

Oh and cracking little IJ MFD. Meant to say that in my first post but forgot!!! Good luck with him. They are a lovely little snake to keep.

for sure im not complaning i love this snkae to death and never would get rid of her but if it is the wrong snake, i guess it's would be my fault from buying from a pet shop, instaed of a true breeder, lesson learned.
