Scenting

I was just curious on the best way to scent. I know someone will ask why..Well Ill I have right now to feed is mice and 1 rat that is to big for him. I dont want him to only eat mice (get addidcted to mice).. Should i scent the mice and if so How.?

Overall I don' t really scent but when its feeding day for some of the collection I usually need mice and rats (all sizes). And because I get them all at same time for later feeding, then sit in tupperware tubs together while thawing. I assume they scent themselves and it works fine.

Just my 2 cents.
