View Full Version : New exo terra silk worms in a can....

Is this stuff Any good,They Are Pupae,And My Beardie seems to love them (seeing how anything i drop in the cage it takes,that resembles insects dead or alive) and for me its way cheaper then buying live worms,Ill post the nutrition value later.Anyone with expierce or etc can tell me if this stuff is good?

Our store sells them plus the grasshoppers and mealies. We have fed the grasshoppers to the beardies. Seem to like them but I wonder how they are preserved.

Yes i saw the hoppers,Mealies and snails,I went with silkies because the actual worm is very good(in terms of health) and a staple(for my lizards i speek of course :P) The nutrition is as follows for the Exo terra silkies:

Protein:15%
Oil:5.6%

Ok I Checked This Out On Exo Terra, http://exo-terra.com/products/canned_foods_i.html They have the dish that vibrates making the dead insects move,would getting the insects and this be a good idea?
