Is an 84 litre storage box 435 x 715 x 380mm big enough for an average fully grown ball python??

Cheers

Yes, 17X28X14 is more than adequate for an adult ball python. Good luck.

Erm. Not sure what the difference is between a rubbermaid and a sterilite is!! Is that just the make?? Its made by a company called really useful boxes.

One great formula iv encountered is to multiply your Lenght, Width and Height together (use inches) and then divide it by 231. V= (LxWxH) divided by 231
That will determine quite accurately your Volume in Gallons. I use this method since almost all commercially available aquariums/cages are measured in gallons anyway. It should be noted however that just cuz its a 60 gal tank that is relatively narrow but really high/deep may NOT be the best choice for a terrestrial reptile of course! lol
