I am just wondering if it is easy to ship around Canada. Would be for later use though.
Thanks

Yeah, its easy.
As long as you know what you're doing.

How would you go about doing it? What company?
Thanks

Only 2 are possible. Air Canada ans WestJet. I use Air Canada.
There's plenty of threads already on how to ship. Just do a search and they should answer all your questions.

That post of Tony's is one of the best "how to" post ever made here at ssnakess.com. It has all you need to know.
Cheers,

Tony's post is/should be the shipping bible in Canada, IMO. If you can come close to the standars he lays out in that post, you should do ok. One thing to remember about shipping is, don't cut corners to save money. It doesn't take much money to put a good package together. The extra "safety/security" and the professional image you'll convey are worth laying down a couple extra bucks for REAL packaging supplies.
Once you are on the receiving end of a few good and bad shipments, you'll know what I mean.

Exactly. Once you get a few good shipment, just copy what you see done. And really, you'll probably receive few shipments before the day comes that you are ready to ship yourself.
Best of luck. Its totally not as daunting as people think. But on the other hand, its very very important to do it properly.

Your welcome, it was a pleasure making that post and even more of all the people it helped out. I to was a newbie at this and through research and from recieving shipments (for almost 10 years) in fish, birds and now boids, we feel we have it down packed that we could help others like in this post.
Thank you.

Ok, I was just wondering about delivery right to somones door. Are deli cups ok for shipping?
Thanks

No such thing as door-to-door shipping in Canada. Deli cups are good for the appropriate snake. Can't ship an adult boa in a deli cup. Really though, all the info is within that thread that Tony posted. I'm sure of it, although I haven't read it since it was first created.

Well, ya, but for geckos it would be ok right? He never said anything about door to door shipping or it not being in canada
Thanks

I ship ALL my baby snakes in deli cups, so YES they will work. I don't work with geckos, but yeah, I assume they'd work. Don't see why not. The deli cup isn't the issue when it comes to shipping. Its the preparation of the box that's the key.
