tell me why i went to go get feeders for my snakes, and there were lots of mice in the box bout 10. when i opened it up all the mices ears were chewed off!!! i looked again and saw one mouse doing it(chewing) to another.the mouse who chewed the ears still had his can you answer why this happened???????????

If the mice are hungry they will start to eat each other, and mice love to chew.

In my experience mice are stupid, smelly, malevolent beasts that gnaw and cannibalize one another at the drop of hat. Perhaps the container was too small and they were stressed?

Yeah and you have to watch out for those pregnant mice if they weren't with the other from the start they tend to be very aggressive one of my pregnant females killed one of the other females for no reason, there was plenty of food and water needless to say she's now got a 20 gallon to herself.
