bp not eating

hi all i am a new owner of a bp i have had her for 3 weeks now and we just love her, but i'm starting to worry about her not eating since i've had her and i can see that she has lost weight is this normal due to new home and she did just shed a couple days ago she is about 4 1/2 to 5 mon. old and was eating frozen rats befor i got her please help.

im hoping to meet some of you at the EXPO in nov. (hope to learn something) first time ownerjavascript:smilie(':confused:')

This is the exact time of year when a good percentage of Ball Pythons go off food.

yup is it sure is!....mines been off 4 about 3 weeks now also

when it is down 14% of its origanl body wieght i would start to worry till then just try differnet things. like get a live one kill it and try feeding it to right after but if you find it all nesasary (dout if it will come to this) try a live food item but watch them at all times.

another question so its never ate for u?
and did u get it off someone u know so its not WC?

no she hasn't eaten for me yet and i was told that she was cb and my snake was eating fine when befor i got her
