reptile show tomorrow!!!

ok, i'm sitting here at work going nuts waiting for tomorrow. i'm going to the white plains show in NY tomorrow morning and got a few hundred in my pocket.. of course my wife will kill me if spend that much.. lol i feel like a kid the nite before christmas.

my wish list for tomorrow:
licorice stick rat snake (lined up a breeder who is bringing them)
crested geckos

after that i am not sure.
tangerine hondo
corns
viper tail geckos
maybe some uroplatus
also was in touch with a breeder who has cat gecko, but he never responded as to whether he was bringing it.... and he's asking $250 for a WC

whatever i end up getting, i love seeing all the different animals.

Nice, shows are the best! Make sure you quarentine anything you get to be safe.
I cant wait till the february show in Mississauga :D

Ihave til the third week of April til our show. Now I am up to 19 snakes and I want an albino for my het female. Maybe sell a corn or two off to get more bci's.......lol

no shows in Manitoba??? so do you guys hit any at all? how far do you have to go?

so Lioness what did you get?

what i brought home:
-- an absolutely stunning harlequin crested from Reptile Depot. he's gorgeous.. now lets hope he is a she. ;) and cheap too! he's was only $60.00.
-- a wee little opal corn. the last time we went, my wife loved them.. so i thought. turns out it was the lavenders she liked.. lol
-- a female licorice stick rat. i saw the mother and she looked great, so hoping that she's turn out as well. next show i'll have to pick up a stud for her. lol
-- bunch o' supplies

what i wanted.. badly:
-- viper tail gecko, but he was soooo small. he's was probably no more than 1/2" and i wasnt sure i could care for something so small.
-- a chahoua gecko. i found one breeder who was selling them for $200 and i had never seen them for less $300.
-- hypo tangerine hondo
-- black kingsnake

maybe next time.. time to start saving again.

i didnt get any new herps..i want to give my corn all the attention it needs and deserves for now.

but my herp wish list is:
0.1 Mexian Black Kingsnake
a couple chams..maybe a panther and a veiled
and maybe a crestie
..i plan to have those within the next year or so..i know im gunna have the MBK for sure by the end of this year. i plan on getting my corn a bigger tank when it gets bigger..maybe a 55gal. then i'll give the baby MBK the 29gal that the corn is in now.:)

oh..and the show was pretty cool..my cousin and i were so excited. lol
it was pretty small tho..cus it was raining. there were only like 10 vendors but we still had fun.
i bought two climbing trees..the guy was selling one for $10..but gave me 2 for $15 cus he thought we were purty..lol o>
some more naturebark substrate..i didnt need it..but i thought what the hell. it'll save me a trip to the petstore later.
50 FT pinkies for $20
and umm....... thats about it

we plan on going to another show in west palm beach..i think its in march sometime..not sure..but im looking forward to it!
