And finally, the piece de resistance...my new tarantula spiderling(Avicularia versicolor) This was the first time I handled it too, I was surprisingly unafraid for a mild arachnophobe.

Yikes... I'm a mild arachnophobe too... ok a medium, ok an extra spicy;) Why would you buy one if you're kind of afraid of them???? You are brave...

What a cool loonie, its really shiny. What year is it? LOL.

Also, what do you feed such as small tarantula?

Heheheh, I actually picked that loony because it was the shiniest one at hand!
My camera is a Hewlett-Packard photosmart 215...it's not fantastic, but it does the job (and eats batteries like there's no tomorrow!)
The tarantula eats pinhead crickets, but he can take down crix his own size.

Kate's trying to talk me into letting her get a spider. Sometimes i begin to give in then she shows me some nasty photo of a tarantula that freaks me out and brings me back to my senses.
