Paintballin's fun stuff haven't been in a couple of years though. Too expensive when you don't have your own and rent the courses. I love the out doors courses though. Indoor isn't that great. Unless it's raining or muggy than the masks suck.

There's a few people in my nieghborhood that are avid paintballers, They are tryin to get me to join the bandwagon. But if I have to hold a firearm, I love shootin bows from arrows and using slingshots, the old skill stuff.

I'll let you guys know if, they break me and I join the bandwagon, lol. I also have a Co2 pellet gun. :D which I have yet to fire :(

Paintballing was my hobby before herps. I had a $1200-20 ball per second shooting monster. I obsessed when we started a team, and entering tourneys. But then I realized I couldnt spend $300 a week on paint, and decided to give it up. I have pics of my old gun if anyone wants to see them. Take care.

I've tried it. Got shot in the throat once from about 30ft:). It's lots of fun but just too expensive for me; I thought about getting in to airsoft but there aren't enough people around here to play with.

You guys aren't very responsable. Not to sound like a drag but I've see first hand what such weapons can do and the consinquences come out of it. Not a good thing. A lesson I learned back in my early teens was treat any fire arm as if you wear dealing with a 12 gage shotgun, which is honestly why I prolly haven't fired my pellet gun yet.

Just take this as a warning and learn from your elders. :) Be careful. You will regret one day if something serious happans.

Edit I know the object of the game is to shoot people with paintballs, that whole shebang was refering to arrows, slingshots, bb guns an anything that could cause significant damage if abused.

Be safe.

You guys aren't very responsable.

Why aren't we responsible? The "toys" are made to shoot each other and thats what we are doing.

This could get into a huge argurment now, I understand what you are saying Jess but thats the thing, you have to be careful with almost any activity you do. If your driving a car you have to act responsibly, or if you own large or even tiny snakes. Everything needs to be taken responsibly.

Thanks for the worries!

When your paintballing you dont worry about it and its a routine to put all the proper stuff on and you never worry of taking ur mask off in a game as well as never do. We all understand the risks. The most hurt i have ever got was 2 huge fricken welts, 1 on my arm, one on my leg and they hurt even after 3 weeks of having them.

Thanjs

I and everyone I played with, would always wear National Paintball Association approved protective gear. And if you ever go paintballing, the gun WOULD be treated as if it were a shotgun. If you do not have your barrel plug in you barrel while others mask's aren't on, sometimes the ref will make you sit out a game. Most of the time they just give you a verbal warning. And if you take your mask off while still on the playing field you will be disciplined similarly. IMO, Paintball is safer than most other sports if all rules are followed. :D

As for the people who go out and shoot pedestrians, or those who vandalize and are not responsible enough for this hobby. It is kinda like an irresponsible herp owner, these are the people that ruin the hobby. Example: A 13 year old that has a burm or large boid, who knows nothing about the creature, doesn't respect it gets strangled to death, and results in a ban of snakes in that area. Or some Irresponsible kid getting shot in the eye ;) with a paintball from not following NPA standards. These actions give the hobbies a bad name, and it gets agitating for us who take it seriously.

Take care.

Crossman is a brandname VI. Its a company that makes most outdoor hunting and/or "target" gear such as my pellet gun. They're pretty well known. But maybe they aren't in Canada?

Thanks Mani ;)

I'm pretty sure that my little brother (Canadian) used to have a Crossmen slingshot... you've gotta love it when parents buy their 7-year-old son a big honkin' slingshot:D.
