What is the difference between indian and sri lankan pythons is it just there natural range.

Size and scalation I believe. Pimburas are the smallest of the molurus group of Pythons, with Burms being the largest. I'm not positive on the scalation though, and would appreciate anyone with more insight into that point. P. molurus pimbura also tends to be abit pinker in colouration that the other 2 of the group.

I have read that in some circles, Python molurus pimbura is no longer recongnized as a subspecies. not sure what it's now being considered but my guess would be that those same scientists and taxonimists are considering it a regional variant of the Indian Rock Python.
