It's really nice to try out my new camera on some of Matt's boas! I don't own any myself so it was neat to try it out on some snake species I don't have. They turned out great and all Matt's snakes looked well fed yet pissed usual. :D :D

The super sweet BCC Matt got from Linds. It's really grown since I saw it last.

Neato boa with a really reduced pattern. It's really different looking.

Ah. One day I'll have boas of my own to photograph but for now, I'll just keep forcing Matt's snakes to deal with me. :D :D

"Tim, I have things going on at this facility that you wouldn't have even dreamed about man!! "

Yeah. Scary things. Be careful if he ever asks you to visit his "facility" Tim.

Matt,
You have a seriously impressive collection, that little weirdo on the end is really neat. That boa from Stav is awesome.

Marisa,
Super pics! What kind of camera are you using and how user-friendly do you find it?

Linds-

I am using the Canon A95. It's extreme user friendly, just as friendly as the A40 which I know you have had.

Matt-

For sure! I LOVE taking pics period. My snakes, someone else's snakes, snakes at the zoo.....next time we need to do up a suitable background with extra lights. You hold the shield, I'll take pics of them all. :D :D ;)

What beautiful pics!
I dont know anything about snakes much less colouring, but do you mind telling me what the colour of the boa in the second picture is?!
I think that is super beautiful :D
Are these snakes very easy to handle?

I don't own any of the species above but the boa in the second photo is a Dumerils Boa....Matt's is totally amazing looking and I definitly want another crack at photographing that snake.

We don't handle Matt's when I go up really, so he'll have to speak for their personalities but as any snake, they can be calmed with lots of handling..... but also like any snake species, their will be individuals.
