help my 2 leopard_gecko

hi people i got 2 leopard_gecko thats about maybe 4 months old and they live togather but for some reson they bite each other sometime when i feed them what should i do about it ? plzzz help

My pair bite each other sometimes, they don't leave marks usally.

you should seperate them.... thats the only real cure... it may not cause probs now but might when there older

They're probaly too young too sex, they might both be males. I've seen my leos mistake anothers tail for food at feeding time, and take a little nip. Best bet, like everyone esle here said, seperate them for the time being until you're 100% sure of the sex and when they've got the feeding thing down. Good luck!

I've had that happen often too, even once adults. Sometimes Leos just get too excited when they eat. It used to happen to me all the time feeding mealworms to my 5 leos LOL just drop in a larger pile of food IMO.

BUT separating them is most likely your best course of action.

It's kind of like a bowl of candy and two little kids. As soon as one has a piece the other one wants it:) Try to feed them seperately, or you can try something I find useful. Take the leos out and put them into two seperate containers. Dump however many crickets you need into your tank. Then put one leo back at one end of the tank and the other one at the other end. Often this is enough for them to leave eachother alone.

LOL Yea when I feed my geckos superworms, eat one has to have their faces full, or a game of tug-of-war begins until someone lets go, and both get highly agitated LOL A funny sight, but not good LOL
