Anyone know of a Tokay gecko breeder near Edmonton Alberta?? I am interested in getting a few hatchlings that are from captive bred specimens (I'm not a huge fan of getting wild caught animals, but if it boils down to it I might, so I can start breeding them myself)

I figure that if its a captive bred hatchling, and I handle them alot from youth, they may be alot more handlable.

I currently am in the second year of breeding Leopard geckos and am looking to get into Tokays, and possible even Fattailed Geckos (they seem almost identical to Leopard Geckos)

If anyone knows a reputable Tokay or Fattailed Gecko breeder near Edmonton, Alberta, please post up or send me an email at:
warriorscootman@hotmail.com
or private message me. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Oh and if you have tested and proven facts on temps, egg care and info of this nature on Tokays, please pass it on to me, I could use the ideas and help!

My plan is to setup a EXO-TERRA Glass Terrarium with front doors 18"Wx18"Dx24"H, use an EXO-TERRA undertank heating pad (I realize this is not nessesary, but will help to keep constant temperatures I think) and use an ESU Bi-Lighting 20" ballast for a day/night light combo on a timer like I use for my Leo's. I have to wait tho for the terrariums to become available at my local petshop.

I was planning on getting 2 females, and 1 male Tokay if possible, and possible the same for Fattailed geckos.

I've attached a pick of 1 of my Leopards gecko tank setups, let me know what you think!

I hope I posted tis in the right spot!! LOL My first time to this particular forum.

This is Nova, a 1 3/4 year old Patternless Blizzard Leopard Gecko. He's about 12" long and is super handleable. You can pet him like a dog LOL

a great place to get scales is on ebay. Just do a search on there for food or kitchen scales.

I have some baby tokay geckos left that hatched in 04.I've been breeding them for many years. I may be coming to Calgary for the T.A.R.A.S show in the spring if all goes well in the gravid boa department so if you are still looking, could hook up there.
