Man this forum is slow...
Thought I'd liven things up with these photos of one of my Kofa Mountains Rosy Boas. You can really see the recurved teeth.
Enjoy!

Thanks Ryan for doing two things, 1 livening this forum up and 2 adding a new Rosy local to my list! Just what I needed two more snakes.

That's some nice dentition... and a great looking snake! I've never really thought of Erycines as toothy before.

I've never really thought of Erycines as toothy before.
Neither did I until I got my first Rosy, an adult male Bay of La Mid-Baja who left a tooth in the palm of my hand the first day I got him. I have pics in my gallery of him trying to eat my thumb.
Cheers,
Trevor

LOL Trev! You can never have too many locale specific Rosies, and these guys are awesome!

I heard that! Not sure though if I'll be adding any new ones to the list this year or not. I'm after some more kenyans.
Thanks,
Trevor

Here are some dentition photos of my male San Gabriel Mountains Rosy boa. I am actually a little nervous about when these guys get bigger, seems like it would be a nasty bite from a 3-4' female Coastal with recurved teeth like these:

Thanks for posting - I had no idea that Rosies had large teeth!
Thank god I wasn't born a pinky mouse! Although my brain might have been a little more developed.
