i have a baby leopard gecko and i have not seen him take a drink from his water hole. i was just wondering if maybe my bowl was sitting to high or he just doesnt drink that often. should i be giving him a daily mist of water? the bowl sits about 2 inches off the ground. will the baby be able to climb the rock to get into it or should i build some sort of ramp so he can climb up better. anyone have any ideas i would appriciate the help thanks

This should be in the leopard gecko forum.:) But until it is moved.....

Leos very rarely drink, as a lot of their moisture intake comes from the insects they eat, so I wouldn't worry about that. I would, however, move the dish to an area that isn't so high. Or you could make a ramp. Just be sure the dish itself isn't too deep, or the little guy may drown in it.

Good luck, and if you have any other questions, stop by the leo forum. There are lots of people to help you out with any questions you may have.:)

Even though leo's do not drink much. I use a small dish like a 600ml pop bottle top this way they can not drown and is low enough for them to find easily.
