eye cap

I noticed that my ball has one eye cap still on. Will this come off on its' next shed? What should be done if it doesn't come off?

Hey paul just run a wet cloth over his head let him crawl through helps shed come off better and if you have tweasers for plucking hair use that gentley grab a piece and peel it off i have done it before with no problems. (is alot easier whentheirs more skin left on the head though.

its better to get rid of it then leave it on cause it could cause an infection.
when i peeled the eye cap of mine there still was some head shed that i pulled and the eye cap came along with it. just be gentle and it should come off.

No. Too much risk in hurting the snake.

Use the damp towel method. Put the snake in a warm damp cloth, then put the snake wrapped in the towel into a pillow case and tie it shut. Let your snake crawl around in there for 2-4 hours. Also, keep the humidity higher in your snake's enclosure when it is shedding, then you shouldn't have this problem in the first place.
