If possible...could you post some pictures of your large enclosures. I plan on getting a male or two sometime in the future, and was just wanting some plans. I have already made custom cages before, but was just looking for some new ideas possibly.

PS - Just to inform all who read: I have indeed kept Burmese Pythons in the past. This will not be the first time.

PPS - Some pictures of your Burmese Pythons would be apppreciated as well! I plan on getting a Normal, Albino, Albino Labyrinth, or Blonde. If I feel I have the room for both cages I may even pick up a pair!

Thanks,
B.U.

Normal, Albino, Albino Labyrinth, or Blonde

wouldn't it had been easier to just say getting a burm then to list ALL morphs as options? :P (besides green)

If you've kept burms befor why are/were you so hessitent to get one?

The best burm cage Iv ever seen was 12x8x5 and had fake ivy coming down from the cieling and the light filtered threw to make a awsome display. I'll try to find pics for ya but they are on k i n gSnake.

Those arent all the the morphs.....Green, Albino Green, Labyrinth, Granite, Brindle, Leucistic, Albino Granite, Leopard, and Calico??

When was I hesitant? I may have said I'm not sure if I want another large Python but that doesnt mean I was denying or debating on whether or not I can properly care for another.

BoidsUnlimited, As far as I know Blonds were never proven out, neither were leustics but you had said you were looking into Blonds. If somebody has proven out blonds that I am just n aware of could you let me know.

As for burm pic's unfortunately my camera isn’t working or I would be glad to show you a couple of my two. I have an albino male and a het albino female.

And as a final question how long ago did you have your burm, and how big was he/she ?

I had HIM 1 1/2 years ago. He was about 8ft in length.

Now of course he wasnt a monster...but that is why I buy them as babies...so I can adjust to its growth:)

Have you proven the female out?

No the female is just young, and I will not breed her even when she is large enough. Did you raise him to 8 feet or was that its size when you purchased it, and why did you get rid of it just to look for one a year and a half later ??

I bought him as a hatchling.

Personal issues arose. Had to sell my whole collection. A year and half later I am in a stable living condition, and re-building my collection thank you.

I see. Well I will end up with a pair and breed once just for some personal fun.
