I've been under the radar for the past few months but a lot has happened. During this time I cooled my pair, put them together, witnessed about 5 copulations, and in the past 24 hours I've seen my female have her first ever ovulation!!! I just wanted to update everyone and I should have some pics up of the events listed above soon. Now the countdown begins!!! :hour:
Here are the two lovebirds again.

Outstanding! No name suggestions though. My female Biak type is called Verdi. How are their temperments?
Cheers,
Trevor
Wow! When it comes to high yellow/biak Green Tree pythons, I highly prefer the "blotched" ones like your female over the "pixelated" types like your male, but he is still very nice.
That female is just amazing! Congrats.

Thanks for all the complements! I got really lucky with the female. She was just another normal baby, from a normal clutch, but turned out to be a steamer. Since that photo of her the green has gotten darker creating even greater contrast. To this date she is one of my favorite looking chondros.
Boidkeeper- The male is really snappy. You should have seen him fending me off from the female as if she were his. He wouldn't let me get near her without a fight. The female is normally dog tame but has become extra aggressive in the past week. She hasn't eaten since they were first introduced around 2 months ago so i'm thinking she just got her appetite back.
