It was in a local magazine here published in South africa. It's an aurora house snake which is very common in my part of the world

Not one I'd want to see... Then again I'm not a fan of any spider.

I've seen a few pics like this with black widows. Extremely interesting in my opinion.

I think snakes are fascinating was considering getting one but have an instant "squash" reaction if something like that crawls onto me!! So I decided against getting one.

Nita, I take it you mean spiders? It seems you have a few snakes and I'd be afraid if you wanted to crush them!

Yup the squishing is totally related to bugs only!! LOL, love my snakes. Can't wait to acutally get a pied beaner that has been on my list since day one!! LOL, gimme a few years and I'll have mine!

I remember this past summer there was a similar case only it was in Thailand. It happened in a barn. I dont recall what kind of snake or spider it was.

I'd take the het :P

I dont blame ya though, once I feel confident enough in myself to own an $8,000.00 + snake I will get one... Smartly enough I don't concider owning 2 corn snakes for 2 months experience...

In my oppinion I haven't even owned an advanced lizard yet. Medium skill level at best.
