Calgary House Hunting Help

My husband and I are thinking about moving to Calgary in the next year or so. I am trying to research the realestate market there and am having a bit of trouble.

I've tried homestore.ca/realtor.com and they don't have listings for Calgary. Only Edmonton and mid Alb. I know that a lot of calgarians frequent the site and I was hoping to get some help. I've tried googling it and only got direct realtors sites.

If it helps, I am considering taking a collaborative nursing course at Mount Royal. So, living near there would be nice.

Any help would be appreciated.

I tried to help out by mentioning a herp friendly landlord and got told the by no means was realestate allowed to be discussed. go figure.

www.mls.ca has listings if you are looking to buy a house.

Gary, Im curious as to who told that you can't post real estate on the site?? I didn't know this was a rule here, and if it is, i'd love to know when it was made.. I see nothing wrong with you posting something to help out a memeber..

Gary,
You weren't told that it wasn't allowed to be discussed, just not advertised. Discussing real estate is allowed. Posting classified ads is not. Homes are not considered to be directly herp-related (just like freezers, cameras, etc.), as well as even herp-related ads cannot be posted in the GD anyways. The only things not allowed to be discussed are in the posting rules at the top of the page.
