BDs over a year old should only be fed animal protien once a week(at most). to much protien causes fatty liver disease. After he settles in his appetite for greens will probably increase. He may also be lethargic due to the season (brumation). Just make sure he has fresh salad every day and see how he does. He may be picky as to what type of greens he likes.
here's a couple food sites to try
