After what’s seems like forever, I think I might have managed to post a picture of two of my newer acquisitions.

2004 was the year that I finally managed to acquire a pair of Bcos. This after a number of fruitless attempts in which all were sold or the price was way over my expectations.

Luckily for me last October, HetForHuman was reassessing his future breeding goals for 2005 and beyond. At that point he decided to make available this beautiful pair of Argentinean boas. It was time to make a move.

A deal was made and I have now been the proud owner of these gorgeous snakes for the last couple of months or so.

I believe the snakes were originally bred by Chris Marshell in New Brunswick then sold to HetForHuman on Chris' behalf by Big Dan.

They snakes are both very healthy; are eating like pigs, and apart from a little hissing in the first month are now settling down and becoming quite handleable.

They have never attempted to strike but initially the male gave a real show of open mouthed irritation. This would only last for a couple of minutes of any handling session before he would settle down to the warmth of an arm or hand.

I am certainly enjoying these snakes; I hope you do too!

Thanks to Tim, Deanna and Dan.

Please note: The upper photo is the female; the lower photo is of the male.

They are looking really good Tony, and i am glad you are happy with them. I hope they do really well for you.

I would have liked to have kept them, but i have my eyes on a few other things that i want to get.

Thanks Tony and it was a pleasure doing business with you, hope to do it again sometime.

Cheers

Tim
