First guess is Sceloporus occidentalis Western Fence Lizard (http://www.sdnhm.org/fieldguide/herps/scel-occ.html) sometimes called the blue-bellied swift?

Ahhhh, have a look at the link to "similar" species...
Uta stansburiana , that might be the yellow you are looking for!:)
