ok, i might sound like an idiot but i had cornsnakes and a kingsnake before but i really want a ball python. now to house it i haev a custom cage. its 72 inches long and one end being 30 inches high and 30 inches across and he other side being 18 inches hish and 42 inches across. the whole thing is 2 ft deep. it looks like an <L> shape if that helps. would this be a good size/type house to keep my ball python (male). i can divide it anyway posible. please help me out

i think you might have to take a pic.... i couldnt figure out what shape you were talkin about

I would say divide it at the so that you have one enclosure that is 42 X 18 and another that is 30X 30. You would then have enough room for 2 adult balls.
PS.... By putting your 'L' in the brackets it doesnt' show up.

even if you do use it for an adult bp (or 2) you would want something MUCH smaller for a baby (if that is something you are looking into).
What kind of top is on this thing? I just can't really imagine an L shaped tank. lol
