Well here is my new carpet python he was sold to me as a costal ,I think he might have some IJ in him what do you think ? He is three years old and 5.5 feet long and as tame as they come .

100% Coastal. I've never seen one that isn't as light as that one. That is textbook.

Females can be darker to retain heat to eat more, metabolize more, and to incubate eggs. This is why 4-5 year and older female carpets can be at their ugliest. Not always, but sometimes.

thanks Jeff my female is a b right now and i think she is gravid sh has not ate in 5 or 6 weeks now and as bitchey as can bee lol here is her pic 8' long give or tack a few inches ;thanks Paul
