I have the same tank,
I use pothos for cover, snake plant because they grow nice and high. they make good perches and are easy to maintain. Use coco fiber at the bottom an inch is good. Keep the plants in the pots, Put a layer cocob fiber on top of the plant soil in case they injest some while hunting it's safer then them getting a mouth full of the plant soil.
I find that hexagons really trap in moisture and humidity. so make sure your mists are lighter then usual to avoid saturation and mold at the bottom. fill a container full of moist cocbark and place some corkbark over top so they have a secure place to hide, it's a good remedy for over misting. jungle vines work well and nice verticle logs. Goodluck on the set up. post some pics when you have it all ready. weeping figs are also good, get some snake plants for sure!
I have found with those tanks that the airflow can get pretty bad near the bottom, but that can be fixed easily by running a computer fan on top of the lid. Natural substrates are great, as long as they are set up properly. There are a few very good guides on the net for dart frog and general vivs, and they can be easily modified for cresteds. If I remember correctly, Black Jungle has some how-to's on their website...
I have to run, but I hope this points you in the right direction.

pothos is safe, but remeber U will need a UVB producing bulb or just a cheep green house bulb from wal mart to keep your plants alive :)
