View Full Version : Girl's who definitly don't just wanna have fun
Ahhh my brats! These two girls are still total spaz freaks but I got a few good pics. Both are reaching three feet now and I am dying for 2006 to get here since that will be when I attempt to breed them.
Mesa, the one with the better white out of the two. She has a bit of yellowing but she is maintaning her white and getting prettier each shed.

Sage, yellow bugger. She is the better one for handling out of the two though. Easier to feed as well as Mesa will strike with a mouth full of mouse if you walk by still.

I love the first 3 pics...wow
Thanks. The snake in the first three actually sat very still for about five full minutes. It was nice for once!
The one in the second group of photos was dashing all about and rattling her tail. :D

Nice looking gals! So, who's the lucky dude or dudes that will get to "encounter" these ladies? :)
Well I only have one male. So it's either him or I am crap outta luck. Although I am not planning on breeding these ladies until 2006, so I still might pick up a back up.

He's NICE! I like all the black. :D
Good luck!
If you need another male, don't hesitat to call! ;) :D
LOL! Yeah you know don't tempt me. Summer time is coming soon and that sounds like the perfect time to build a bigger rack to hold more males. LOL :D

You know something Marisa, I ALMOST sent you a 2004 female with the package I sent you in the fall! :D I was THIS close. I just wasn't sure if you would want to pay the extra shipping (I would have paid 1/2) or get more snakes at that time (a bad time in your life :().
Anyway, if you do want one in the spring/summer, it's on me (minus the shipping! :p).
:) :)
Ooooh!
I LOVE the black & whites...
Good luck in '06! :D
Yeah that was probably a good choice. At the time I was getting behind even taking care of these free loaders I have already with what was going on at the time. :)
I'll definitly be talking to you come spring though as I know you have some nice black and whites.
Gotta love those guys on queensnake posting those reverse high white stripes, etc. Wow they blow me away!

love those beauties you have there~~
haha
spazy ones aren't they~
I bet that they'll grow into great parents in 2006!
Thanks Simon! :D
Yes the ladies are spazy freaks. They are aggresive feeders, and very aggresive in cage. I am trying to work them out of it, and we are making SLOW progress.
The spotty one is alright being held, once in awhile she might pee on us.
The other abberant looking one is a feeding psycho, and usually squirts all over anything she can the entire time during handling.
Niether have bitten us once though, so thats nice. But to tell you the truth, I'd prefer biters over ones who constantly musk and pee on us. :D

Great shots Marisa!! I like the dot dashy one a lot!
I feel ya on only having one male cal king. We have four adults females and only one baby male! Guess I'll have to keep the bugger and grow him up!
Got to love how adult kings are super feeders!! My 50/50 whom I purchased from Henry P (at a show), greeted me by chomping my palm and Mark IsBell had to save me with a soft rubber spatula. This same snake has also tried to run off and eat her own shed!!
My dot dash is also a heavy musker. Nice cheesy yellow musk. After a while, it's kind of a nice smell, no??
Luckily my prized coastal stripe is nice and handlable and a great feeder.
They've got such neat and fun personalities!
It's been sad letting go of the ones Vanan has sold, b/c they're such beautiful and amusing snakes.
I didn't much like cal kings when I first started, but Vanan likes his cals and they started to grow on me. The abberanty ones are my fave.
