Haha I know we're far from nerds, well me atleast, in fact I'm a jock if anything, but still I've got alot of odd hobbies. Well by the standards of most people around here. Reptiles, and Comic books are two things very rare for this area. So just wondering who else collects comics, since I know everyone on her collects herps :P
Also what have you been reading lately?
I've been reading alot of things from Slave Labor Graphics. Jhonen Vasquez stuff mainly such as Squee!, Johnny The Homocidal Maniac, B.A.C (although only one book, high ignorant, highly addictive) and I feel Sick!.
Also reading from SLG-
Pirate Ship, Corenzo (<- I forgot how it's spelled sorry), and a couple of other titles.
Besides all those obscure titles I'm also reading some vintage Fantastic Four, Four, Hulk vs. Thing (not too impressive), Samurai (great graphics), Elektra The Hand, B.P.R.D, and of course Hellboy, Flash, and The Punisher. The list goes on of course but those are the main ones, and the ones I can think of at the moment that I've read within the past 2 weeks.

I used to, about 10 years ago... I actually miss reading them.
Always liked Todd McFarlanes Spiderman, enjoyed Wolverine and almost all the Valiant titles (XO, turok, ect)... don't think any are around anymore though...
Wouldn't have a clue about what's around these days though.
Lots of D&D and Rifts these day though... I guess I am a geek.
Oh well.

Yeah, about 12 years ago. Elfquest was my fav. Newer ones are Bone, I just buy the graphic novel of it. Awesome comic series
I collected for a while. Mostly Spiderman and Spawn (McFarlane fan too). And some other titles from Vertigo, Chaos and Harris. I have a few of Frank Miller's Sin City books and just two nights ago saw a trailer for a Sin City movie with Bruce Willis and Mickey Rourke... looks cool!!
I was into Image line comics loved following the Wildcats series.

I loved Image comics when they first came out and I invested a small fortune in them over a two year span. Everything from Spawn #1 to Wildcats, Youngblood, The Maxx and Cyber Force!!!

I use to collect comics but I stopped a while back. Although I do collect OVERPOWER cards. It was a card game with super heros from Marvel, DC and Image. I never played, I just like the artwork.

My man collects Marvel comics and we even name all of our herps after them, you can tell that by looking at my sig.
I do read one comic though, it's a bit cheesy but i love everything about it except the damn movies the only good thing about that was Angelina Jolie played the part. The first time i seen the movie i was yelling at the tv, saying that's not what happens, i ended up having to turn it off and watch it at a later time cause i was so pissed off. That's right i read Tomb Raider comics even the cross overs. I think i have all of them up to date except maybe 1 or 2 is missing. Nobody except me is even allowed to touch them and when i do nobody can be around and i'm so freaking gently with them it's kinda pathetic.

i was a comic freak for too many yrs. i must have over 2,000 all bagged and boxed away in several locations. i started out on marvel, started consuming some dc, onto image and a few indies. some of favs were savage dragon, poison elves, strangers in paradise, and, although i never truly understood it, the maxx.
beaner, you hitting the white plains show next month?
