How often should I humidify my 3' BP in a 20 gaLLON LONG TANK?
The curent temp on the hot side is about 81-85f.
Also which would be the best wattege for this low, long 20 gallon tank?
I have 2 bulbs for now with a aluninum lamp. 100 watt day bulb and a 75 watt black for the night.

Start by reading this, http://www.ssnakess.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=49236
Then anything else you can find on BP care.
What are you measuring your temps and humidity with?

a cheap thermomiter for about $12 i bought with the supplies. it came with humidity indicator. Both, are glued to the walls. I know that these are no good but that what i got at this point. However, this is my firdt time having a python so i need everything to be as accurate as possible.
If you have any tips, please advise me.
Thanx.

The snake doen't sit on the walls so they do no good there. You need to measure the temp where he basks. A digital with a probe would be best. As for how often you need to mist, they need 60% humidity so if it's below that you need to correct it somehow.
Read some care sheets and you'll get all the answers you need.

Thanx
1. Your temps are way too low. 90-95 hot side, 78-82 warm side.
2. Don't use bulbs as a heat source, unless your ball python floats. He's on his belly, get him some belly heat.
3. I can't tell you how often to humidify the ball. Good humidity levels are between 50-70%.
4. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ask Santa for a book on ball python husbandry or read a whole a$$load of caresheets.
