Assuming that my BP breeding that is going on produces eggs, when can I expect them to be laid. I want to make sure I have the incubator in place and running for a week at the right temps so I can make adjustments. Thanks!

Depending on when you introduced the two, started cooling, etc. most eggs are laid April-September. I start cooling September 30, and get eggs June-August. I like to get my incubator going in April to make sure I have more than enough time to work out any problems that may arise and be more than ready for eggs. Good luck.

I would recommend getting your incubator running AT LEAST a month in advance. If your incubator is well built, it should take a while to nail-down the temperature and I feel a week is rushing it a bit. I would like to see the thing running at the exact temperature (+/- 0.5F) for a good solid week or two before I put any eggs in.

Anyway, that's just my advice. :)

Thanks Mykee and Tim. They were introduced the last week of November and I expect to stop putting them together in the first or second week of February. So we'll see! Thanks for the advice!
