Awesome pic, Lindsay! I don't remember ever seing a mouth pic as excellent as this one on a BCI!! It's always funny to see how big their teeth are, even if they are always hidden in huge gums!!

It hurts! LOL, I've done it twice with my male BCI! LMAO.

Once, his lower lip somehow got stuck on his lower right tooth, that time I had a Q-tip and opened his mouth with it and held it to the top of his mouth, and used my fingers and unhooked his lip. The second time.......I was trying to open his mouth with bare hands to show a guy the teeth(he has snakes luckily, because...) and when I should have just gently pulled down on the chin skin, I decided to try to convince him to open it with my finger, he then decided to "hold" my fingertip with his front teeth! HAHAHA. MAN are they sharp! Anyways, lol.

Edit: That is the only time that boa has EVER hurt me/shown agression, besides the first week I had him when he was "unhappy". He is probably THE TAMEST boa I have EVER seen.

saw a pic on the net of a scrub opening its mouth to bite and it had nice pretty long teeth,,, scaryyy
Those boa's can tag you but they don't pierce tendons as nicely as those pythons..

Thanks for all the comments! It's definitely the most graphic tooth shot I've managed to snap yet! Just another reminder how much I don't want to get bit...lol :p

LOL I don't know about that! Boa constrictors pack a good one, even though their teeth aren't as big (lol though I'm definitely doing what I can to avoid her 1cm blades!), but tree boas have a nice set on them for sure! LOL... and Rosy Boas have big teeth for such small heads! I'd rather take a hit from a Ball Python than a Rosy :p
