Not really no. Since its a Columbian boa, their tails stay that less red color, where as the true red tail's bcc will usually be more red.
He’s still pretty small to be able to say final colors, but if you go look at adult Columbian photographs, most will turn out the same, with more or less speckling.

Colombian Boa Constrictor Imperator, not a red tail. Boa Constrictor Constrictor are the red tail boas.

The term "Red Tail" is used to refer to BCC, not BCI. Colombian boas, whether they be BCC or BCI come from Colombia, not Columbia. There are Colombian Boa Constrictor Constrictor and Colombian Boa Constrictor Imperator. The Colombian Boa Constrictor Constrictor is the Colombian red tail boa. The Colombian Boa Constrictor Constrictor is not comon in the pet trade.

thanks for the info
Most Bci tend to darken and 'muddy up' with age. Best way to get and idea what a baby will look like with age, is to get a look at the parents.
i dun think you guys understand his question, yes, he will deffinately change his colors, they get a different color as they grow up, they are born pure grey, and then they gain this nice brown , chances are, unfortunately, the tail will get darker as he changes colors with age. yes ur boa will change his colors to brownish. the look way better as they grow up imo. grey looks way worse then the final light brown. have fun raising him;) i have one myself ,and i had the same question hen i got him, and he is changing.
