I got my first 2 baby crested geckos about 2 weeks ago and I have to admit that I am a little scared not to kill them … :(
I am worried about the right temperature, in my house the temperature is usually around 22’C (sorry guys but I have no idea how much is that is F) , is that good or I should put a 15 or 25 wats bulb for a little more heat.
How much should I mist ? I am afraid that they would be way too cold …

Rule of thumb with cresties and temperature in a typical heated home.... if you're comfy, so are they. If you're chilly, they're still okay. If you're cold, they're a bit chilly. They don't like it much above 80F / 26-27 C. Around 85F / 30C they get stressed. My cresties get room temperature, which means in winter the max is whatever the furnace cranks out when the thermostat is set at 68F / 20 C. Wild cresties are regularly observed actively eating, mating and doing normal 'crestie things' in the low 60's F/ 15.5C. If you do want to raise the night temperature, don't warm it too much, they expect a drop in temperature at night in keeping with the normal nighttime cooling.
Mine get misted morning and evening, but they all have a small shallow lid with water. If you don't supply drinking water, you could still get by with 2 regular mistings, though 3 might be a bit better, specially if you've got a furnace running since winter humidity is usually on the low side.

I always have a dish with water in their tank and I started to mist them twice a day and they seem to be happy.
Thank you for putting my mind at ease because I was a little scared of doing the wrong thing.
