Funny Looking Eye...

Hey I have a female burm, shes about 4 months old and we have noticed something funny with one of her eyes. Not long after we got her we noticed some mites so we Nixed her and got rid of them but we noticed a white almost like skin comming up around her eye the scales around her eye look normal..its just this white all around her eye. Its not blocking her view. I took a pic but it didnt turn out good enuff to show you. Her other eye is perfectly normal..but this other eye is just hard to explain. The whiteness doesnt form a perfect circle, but it does go all the way around her eye. If anyone has any guess at what this may be..or if you have seen anything like it before let me know..Thx

The mites like to get in around the eye and hide, this causes an infection and that is what you are seeing. Once the mites are removed this should clear up over time. If it continues to get worse after the mites are gone, see a vet.

ok thx....thats what we thought the problem could have been...but we just werent sure. it does seem to be going away as she sheds..thx!
